GDS Michael Kirchmann is the Chairman of Global Design Strategies, an architecture, urban planning and development strategy firm based in New York City. He has lectured widely at international conferences and institutions like the Harvard University’s Graduate School of Design, the Architectural Association in London, and New York University. Mr. Kirchmann’s public speaking and criticism are informed by his international design experience, which includes a wide range of projects in the United States, Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Mr. Kirchmann’s work has been featured in a broad selection of design publications including A+U, Wallpaper Magazine, Architectural Review and Metropolis, and he has won numerous international design awards. Mr. Kirchmann’s globally based design work emphasizes experiential development, sustainability, and a commitment to design excellence.
